Get to Know Your SLP

Lindsey is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and maintains her state licensure by the Department of Health to practice in Florida. Lindsey was born and raised in Panama City and attended the University of Florida after high school, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication sciences and disorders in 2007.  She then attended Florida State University and graduated in 2010 with her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. 

 

After graduation, Lindsey was employed with Leon County Schools and Bay District Schools for a total of 16 years as a speech language pathologist.  While working in the school system, Lindsey gained experience providing speech and language therapy services for children in prekindergarten through 8th grade.  In private practice, she has had experience working with children from 20 months through 18 years old with varying speech and language needs.

Lindsey is passionate about the importance of early intervention for language, speech and literacy skills; as well as applying a variety of evidence based strategies for speech and language delays and disorders.

Lindsey has been married since 2010 and she and her husband are raising two precious boys, born in 2015 and 2025. Lindsey is also a hobby baker who loves designing a variety of custom baked goods for her family and friends. In their free time, the Moneys enjoy gathering with family and friends, participating in Cub Scouts, enjoying all that Panama City has to offer, and being involved in their church community.
